Camerata and Performing Choir

The 40^th anniversary year concerts promise to be a fabulous celebration of the AGC and we’re so looking forward to all of our girls, across the country, being involved. We appreciate how busy the end of year can be for families. With this is mind, while the Annual Concert is not until November, we are pleased to provide you with all of the information now that you will require about rehearsals and the performance.

We love presenting concerts in the beautiful Adelaide Town Hall and Camerata and Performing choristers will showcase their talents in three shows on Saturday November 23. We highly value the role our senior girls play as role models to all junior girls and hope the girls will find it fulfilling and rewarding.

Annual Concert Production Rehearsal

Camerata and Performing Choir

The Annual Concert Production Rehearsal is an opportunity for girls to come together to prepare the music and staging for their Annual Concert items.

Camerata - Saturday October 26 

Arrive: 9.30am

Depart: 3.30pm

Venue:

Seymour College, 546 Portrush Road, Glen Osmond

 
Arrival and Collection:

Please arrive to the Lady George Quadrangle. Parking is available on school grounds via Gate 8. Parking is also available along Gilles Road with access to the school via Gate 5 or Gate 6 (Hardy Gates)

Water bottle and plenty of food to last the day

Performing Choir - Sunday October 27

Arrive: 1.00pm

Depart: 4.00pm

Venue:

Loreto College - 316 Portrush Road, Marryatville

 
Arrival and Collection:

Please arrive to the Junior School Hall for arrival and collection

Bring:

Water bottle and snacks

Jazz shoes

Full attendance is expected however should your daughter be unable to attend part or all of this rehearsal we would appreciate you completing the online absence notification form so we can pass this information on to the Tutors.

Annual Concert

Camerata and Performing Choir

Date: Saturday November 23

Venue: Adelaide Town Hall, 128 King William Street, Adelaide - please see the venue map for arrival and parking details.

Arrival:

Performing Choir arrive: 7.00am

Camerata arrive: 7.30am

Collection:

All girls depart at 8.35pm at the conclusion of Concert 3.

Wear: 

AGC uniform with hair done for the performance

Bring: 

Named water bottle and plenty of food to last the day (please no food deliveries).

Costume pants, jazz shoes, hair and make up accessories. Girls will be handed their performance costume top on concert day.

Concert 1 – 12.30pm

Concert 2 – 4.00pm

Concert 3 – 7.00pm

$56 Adult and $50 Concession - Available for sale from Tuesday October 22 at 1.00pm.

Easy access ticketing requirements for limited steps, wheelchair accessibility, hearing or vision impairments and any other requirements will need to be completed by our ticketing team in the office. Term Dates

There will be a two week holiday break at the end of term 3.

The last week of classes for AGC will be held in the week of September 23. Final Saturday classes will be held on September 28.

Term 4 resumes in the week of October 14 and Saturday October 19 for Saturday classes. All upcoming AGC term dates can be viewed on our website calendar.

Concert Program &  Recording

An Annual Concert program with all girls’ names included will be available to purchase on Concert Day for $10.

Professional footage of the Annual Concert will be available for purchase from Commercial Video Productions through this link www.cvp.com.au/agc. Enter the password AGC24 and select the city your daughter is enrolled in to place your order. 

It can take up to 30 days following the event to receive your order. All orders are managed directly by Commercial Video Productions and copies of past concerts are available through their site.
