Winter Showcase Details
Piccolo, Vivo, Allegro, Avanti, Prelude and Concert Level
We hope all choristers had a fun and relaxing Term 1 break.
We’re looking forward to presenting our Winter Showcase items on Saturday June 29 and have included all confirmed details below.
Choristers in Allegro, Avanti, Prelude and Concert Level will participate in our Winter Showcase Production Rehearsals on Sunday May 19. Please refer to eNewsletter 2 for all confirmed details and note that the Production Rehearsal will replace regular Saturday Allegro and Avanti classes on May 18.
Piccolo and Vivo levels will not attend the Production Rehearsal as all Winter Showcase preparation will occur during regular classes for these levels.

Date: Saturday June 29
The concert will replace regular Saturday classes on this day.
We will be holding three performances in one day. Please see below which classes will perform in each showcase.
Prelude and Concert Level Glenelg choristers are invited to participate in both Showcases 2 and 3. We will email parents separately with further information.
Venue: Murray Performing Arts Centre at Westminster School in Marion, off Alison Avenue. Please see the venue map for arrival and parking details.

Showcase 1 – Saturday June 29
Piccolo, Vivo, Allegro, Avanti, Prelude and Concert Level from Glen Osmond
Girls and audience arrive between 12.45 and 1.00pm
Showcase 1 commences at 1.30pm and runs for approximately 1 hour
Showcase 2 - Saturday June 29
Piccolo, Vivo, Allegro and Avanti from Walkerville Saturday
Prelude and Concert Level from Glenelg
Girls and audience arrive between 3.15 and 3.30pm
Showcase 2 commences at 4.00pm and runs for approximately 1 hour
Showcase 3 - Saturday June 29
Piccolo, Vivo, Allegro, Avanti, Prelude and Concert Level from Glenelg
Girls and audience arrive between 5.45 and 6.00pm
Showcase 3 commences at 6.30pm and runs for approximately 1 hour
Arrival:
On arrival to the venue please make your way to the arrival desk. Girls will be escorted to their level group by AGC staff where a roll will be marked for attendance. Audience members are then welcome to make their way directly into the auditorium to take a seat.
Wear:
Piccolo & Vivo levels wear their junior@agc t-shirt with skirt or pants, flat and secure dress shoes or sandals of any colour and hair tied back. Please do not wear long sleeves underneath the t-shirt as the t-shirt will be worn for the performance.
Allegro, Avanti, Prelude & Concert Level wear AGC uniform of magenta t-shirt, black/navy dance pants, black socks, black shoes and hair tied back with pink rehearsal ribbon.
Bring:
All choristers to bring a named water bottle.
Prelude & Concert Level choristers should bring their named AGC polar fleece
Dismissal:
Collection points will be communicated on stage at the conclusion of the performance.

$33 Adult and $27 Concession available for sale from 1.00pm Wednesday May 29.

Sisters in different performances:
Families with sisters who are in different performances will be able to book up to 3 complimentary tickets to one performance. We will be in contact by email prior to the ticket on sale date.
Specialist Groups:
Choristers in Cantini, Cantissimo and Canto will be involved in the same performance as their regular venue group.
Concert Program & Recording:
We’re creating an online program and we’ll send you a link by email closer to concert day.
Professional footage of the Winter Showcases will be available for purchase from Commercial Video Productions through this link https://www.cvp.com.au/agc. Please enter the password AGC24 and select the city your daughter is enrolled in to place your order. Please note that video and photography is not permitted in the auditorium.
