Camerata and Performing Choir

The 40^th anniversary year concerts promise to be a fabulous celebration of the AGC and we’re so looking forward to all of our girls, across the country, being involved. We appreciate how busy the end of year can be for families. With this is mind, while the Annual Concert is not until November, we are pleased to provide you with all of the information now that you will require about rehearsals and the performance.

We love presenting concerts at the beautiful Queensland Performing Arts Centre and Camerata and Performing choristers will showcase their talents in two shows on Sunday November 10. We highly value the role our senior girls play as role models to all junior girls and hope the girls will find it fulfilling and rewarding.

Annual Concert Production Rehearsal

Camerata and Performing Choir

The Annual Concert Production Rehearsal is an opportunity for girls to come together to prepare the music and staging for their Annual Concert items.

Dates and Times:

Camerata - Saturday October 12

Arrive: 9.30am

Depart: 3.30pm

Performing Choir - Sunday October 13

Arrive: 1.00pm

Depart: 4.00pm

Venue:

Brigidine College, Fairley Street, Indooroopilly

Arrival and Collection:

Parking is available on Fairley Street. Arrival and collection will be from the Hall gate on Fairley Street.

AGC Uniform

Bring:

Water bottle and plenty of food to last the day

Jazz shoes

Full attendance is expected however should your daughter be unable to attend part or all of this rehearsal we would appreciate you completing the online absence notification form so we can pass this information on to the Tutors.

Annual Concert

Date: Sunday November 10

Venue: QPAC (Queensland Performing Arts Centre), corner Grey and Melbourne Streets, South Bank - please see the venue map for arrival and parking details.

Arrive:

Performing Choir arrive: 8.30am

Camerata arrive: 9.15am

Collection:

7.35pm following the Evening Concert

Wear:

AGC uniform with hair done for the performance

Bring:

Named water bottle and plenty of food to last the day (please no food deliveries).
Costume pants, jazz shoes, hair and make up accessories. Girls will be handed their performance costume top on concert day.

Sunday November 10

Matinee – 2.30pm

Evening – 6.00pm

Tickets:

$64 Adult and $58 Concession

Available for sale from Tuesday October 8 at 1.00pm

If you have any issues purchasing tickets please contact the QPAC Box Office directly by calling 136 246 or visiting the Box Office in person.

Easy access ticketing requirements for limited steps, wheelchair accessibility, hearing or vision impairments and any other requirements will need to be directed to the QPAC Box Office.

Please note we have included all QPAC ticketing fees in the final ticket price, however the Arts Centre charges an additional service fee of $7.50 per transaction (not per ticket).

Term Dates

There will be a two week holiday break at the end of term 3. Final Saturday classes will be held this Saturday September 14.

Term 4 resumes in the week of September 30 and Saturday October 5 for Saturday classes.

Concert Program & Recording

An Annual Concert program with all girls’ names included will be available to purchase on Concert Day for $10.

Professional footage of the Annual Concert will be available for purchase from Commercial Video Productions through this link www.cvp.com.au/agc. Enter the password AGC24 and select the city your daughter is enrolled in to place your order.

It can take up to 30 days following the event to receive your order. All orders are managed directly by Commercial Video Productions and copies of past concerts are available through their site.
