The Annual Concert commences at 4.30pm and runs for 1hr 20mins without an interval.
Arrival:
On arrival to the venue please make your way to the arrival desk at the front of the Concert Hall. Girls will be escorted to their level group by AGC staff where a roll will be marked for attendance.
Wear:
Piccolo & Vivo levels wear a party dress, or a top with knee to mid-calf length skirt or pants. This can be worn with flat and secure party shoes or sandals of any colour.
Allegro and Avanti levels dress in all white for this concert.
We aim for the girls to be able to comfortably sit, walk up and down stairs and dance so suggest:
Knee length or longer dress, skirt or pants and a top, all in white
Flat secure shoes in white, black or silver
Each year Allegro wear pink sashes and hair ribbons and Avanti wear purple. These are available to purchase for $5 from your Venue Manager.
Prelude and Concert Level should arrive in their AGC uniform of a magenta t-shirt, polar fleece, navy/black dance pants, black socks, all black shoes and hair tied back with pink rehearsal ribbon. They will be provided with a costume top on concert day, which is worn with the AGC rehearsal dance pants and all black shoes and socks. The neckline of the costume top requires that girls wear undergarments that are not visible. We therefore ask that all girls wear a white or flesh coloured bra or low neckline singlet – please avoid sports or cross back strap bras as the shoulder strap sits closer towards the neck and can be visible.
All choristers should arrive with their hair tied neatly back off their face and may like to wear their hair in a special way for the performance. Girls don’t wear any jewellery or watches on stage, other than small earrings. We suggest that jewellery, watches and other valuables are left at home.
Bring:
All choristers to bring a packed meal (that does not require preparation or heating), substantial snack and named water bottle (please no food deliveries). We have some choristers who have severe nut allergies and therefore ask that you do not pack any nut based foods, including peanut butter and Nutella sandwiches.
Dismissal:
Collection points will be communicated on stage at the conclusion of the performance.
