Camerata

The 40^th anniversary year concerts promise to be a fabulous celebration of the AGC and we’re so looking forward to all of our girls, across the country, being involved. We appreciate how busy the end of year can be for families. With this is mind, while the Annual Concert is not until November, we are pleased to provide you with all of the information now that you will require about rehearsals and the performance.

Choristers in Camerata will showcase their talents at the senior concerts at Hamer Hall on Saturday November 16. We highly value the role our senior girls play as role models to all junior girls and hope the girls will find it fulfilling and rewarding.

Annual Concert

Date: Saturday November 16

Venue: 
Hamer Hall, 100 St Kilda Road, Melbourne - please see the venue map for arrival details.

Please note we will be holding three concerts including Allegro, Avanti, Prelude and Concert Level along with Camerata and Performing Choir.

Arrival:

Camerata Kew: 7.10am

Camerata Burwood East: 2.00pm

Collection:

Camerata Kew: 2.15pm at the conclusion of Concert 1 from the stalls foyer

Camerata Burwood East: 8.45pm at the conclusion of Concert 3 from stage door on Southgate Avenue

Wear: 

AGC uniform with hair done for the performance

Bring: 

Named water bottle and plenty of food to last the day (please no food deliveries).
Costume pants, jazz shoes, hair and make up accessories. Girls will be handed their performance costume top on concert day.

Tickets:

$67 Adult and $61 Concession

Concert 1: Available for sale from Tuesday October 8 at 1pm.

Concert 2: Available for sale from Wednesday October 9 at 1pm.

Concert 3: Available for sale from Thursday October 10 at 1pm.

If you have any issues purchasing tickets please contact the Arts Centre Melbourne Box Office directly by calling 1300 182 183 or visiting the Box Office in person.

Easy access ticketing requirements for limited steps, wheelchair accessibility, hearing or vision impairments and any other requirements will need to be directed to the Hamer Hall Box Office.

We have included all Hamer Hall ticketing fees in the final ticket price. This year there are no additional charges to the customer.

Term Dates

There will be a two week holiday break at the end of term 3.

The last week of classes for AGC will be held in the week of September 16. Final Saturday classes will be held on September 21.

Term 4 resumes in the week of October 7 and Saturday October 12 for Saturday classes. All upcoming AGC term dates can be viewed on our website calendar.

Concert Program & Recording

An Annual Concert program with all girls’ names included will be available to purchase on Concert Day for $10.

Professional footage of the Annual Concert will be available for purchase from Commercial Video Productions through this link www.cvp.com.au/agc. Enter the password AGC24 and select the city your daughter is enrolled in to place your order. 

It can take up to 30 days following the event to receive your order. All orders are managed directly by Commercial Video Productions and copies of past concerts are available through their site.
