Dear Sydney AGC Parents,

We hope you are all enjoying a restful holiday break and are looking forward to our upcoming Annual Concerts.

After providing the Production Rehearsal and initial Concert details at the end of Term 3, we are pleased to confirm all concert and rehearsal information below, including arrival and collection times as well as ticketing details.

We’re so looking forward to our senior choristers showcasing their talents at the junior@agc concerts at Concourse Concert Hall on Saturday November 18 and senior concerts at the Opera House on November 26. We appreciate that this makes for two busy weekends and hope the girls will find it fulfilling and rewarding. We highly value the role our senior girls play as role models to all junior girls and hope that they will be able to participate in all of the shows.

Annual Concert Production Rehearsal

Camerata and Performing Choir

The Annual Concert Production Rehearsal is an opportunity for girls to come together to prepare the music and staging for their Annual Concert items.

Dates and Times: 
Saturday October 28
Camerata Chatswood: 9.00am – 12.45pm

Camerata Beecroft: 1.15 – 5.00pm
 
Sunday October 29
Performing Choir: 9.15am – 1.30pm
Ballare: 9.15am – 2.30pm
Bel Canto: 9.15am - 3.10pm

Venue:
Mercy College, 99-101 Archer Street, Chatswood.

Please arrive to the main school gate on Archer Street for arrival and collection. We suggest parking at Chatswood Chase Shopping Centre next to the school, this is free for up to 3 hours. There is no parking available on school grounds.

Bring:
Water bottle and plenty of food to last the day

Full attendance is expected however should your daughter be unable to attend part or all of this rehearsal we would appreciate you completing the online absence notification form so we can pass this information on to the Tutors.

We will be holding three concerts featuring Piccolo and Vivo levels as well as Camerata and Performing Choir.

Concert 1 – commences at 12.00pm

Camerata Beecroft and Performing Choir

Concert 2 – commences at 3.00pm

Camerata Chatswood and Performing Choir

Concert 3 – commences at 6.00pm

Camerata Chatswood and Performing Choir

Arrival:
Performing Choir: 7.30am
Camerata Beecroft: 8.00am

Camerata Chatswood: 1.10pm

Collection:

Camerata Beecroft: 1.40pm at the conclusion of Concert 1 from the Level 1 foyer

Camerata Chatswood and Performing Choir: 7.40pm at the conclusion of Concert 3 from the Level 1 foyer

Wear: 

AGC uniform with hair done for the performance

Bring: 

Water bottle and plenty of food to last the day (please no food deliveries)
Costume pants, jazz shoes, hair and make up accessories including performance hair ribbon
Girls will be handed their performance costume top on concert day.

$49 Adult and $43 Concession

Matinee Concert – commences at 3.00pm

Camerata Chatswood and Performing Choir

Evening Concert – commences at 7.00pm

Camerata Beecroft and Performing Choir

Arrival:

Performing Choir: 8.30am

Camerata Chatswood: 9.30am

Camerata Beecroft: 4.30pm

Collection:

Camerata Chatswood: 4.45pm following the conclusion of the Matinee Concert

Camerata Beecroft and Performing Choir: 8.45pm following the conclusion of the Evening Concert

Wear:

AGC uniform with hair done for the performance

Bring: 

Water bottle and plenty of food to last the day (please no food deliveries)
Costume pants, jazz shoes, hair and make up accessories including performance hair ribbon

Girls will be handed their performance costume top on concert day.

$66 Adult and $60 Concession

Matinee Concert: Available for sale from Wednesday October 25 at 1pm.

Evening Concert: Available for sale from Thursday October 26 at 1pm.

We have included all Sydney Opera House ticketing fees in the final ticket price, however the Opera House charges an additional service fee of $8.95 per transaction (not per ticket).

Concert Program & Recording:
We will be producing an Annual Concert program with all girls’ names included and it will be available to purchase on Concert Day for $10.

 
Professional footage of the Annual Concert will be available for purchase from Commercial Video Productions through this link https://www.cvp.com.au/agc (the password is AGC23). Please note that video and photography is not permitted in the auditorium.
