Camerata

The upcoming concerts promise to be a fabulous celebration of the AGC, and we’re so looking forward to all of our girls across the country being involved. We appreciate how busy the end of year can be for families. With this is mind, while the Annual Concert is not until November, we are pleased to provide you with all of the information now that you will require about rehearsals and the performance.

Choristers in Camerata will showcase their talents at one of the senior concerts at Sydney Opera House on Sunday November 30. We highly value the role our senior girls play as role models to all junior girls and hope the girls will find it fulfilling and rewarding.

Annual Concert

Camerata

Date: Sunday November 30

Venue: Sydney Opera House, Macquarie Street, Sydney - please see the venue map for arrival and parking details.

Please note we will be holding two concerts including Allegro, Avanti, Prelude and Concert Level along with Camerata and Performing Choir. Camerata Chatswood will perform in the Matinee Concert and Camerata Beecroft will perform in the Evening Concert.

Full attendance is expected however should your daughter be unable to attend part or all of the concert day we would appreciate you completing the online absence notification form and speaking with your venue manager.

Arrival:

Camerata Chatswood: 9.00am

Camerata Beecroft: 4.30pm

Collection:

Camerata Chatswood: 4.45pm following the conclusion of the Matinee Concert

Camerata Beecroft: 8.45pm following the conclusion of the Evening Concert

Wear: 

AGC uniform with hair done for the performance, including rehearsal ribbon

Bring: 

Named water bottle and plenty of food to last the day (please no food deliveries).
Costume top in AGC suit pack, jazz shoes, hair and make up accessories.

Tickets:

$69 Adult and $64 Concession

Matinee Concert: Available for sale from Tuesday October 28 at 1pm.

Evening Concert: Available for sale from Thursday October 30 at 1pm.

If you have any issues purchasing tickets please contact the Sydney Opera House Box Office directly by calling 02 9250 7777 or visiting the Box Office in person.

Easy access ticketing requirements for limited steps, wheelchair accessibility, hearing or vision impairments and any other requirements will need to be directed to The Sydney Opera House Box Office.

We have included all Sydney Opera House ticketing fees in the final ticket price, however the Opera House charges an additional service fee of $8.95 per transaction (not per ticket).

Term Dates

There will be a three week holiday break at the end of term 3.

The last week of classes for AGC will be held in the week of September 15 and Term 4 resumes in the week of October 13.

Concert Program & Recording

An Annual Concert program with all girls’ names included will be available to purchase on Concert Day for $10.

Professional footage of the Annual Concert will be available for purchase from Commercial Video Productions through this link www.cvp.com.au/agc. Enter the password AGC25 and select the city your daughter is enrolled in to place your order. 

It can take up to 30 days following the event to receive your order. All orders are managed directly by Commercial Video Productions and copies of past concerts are available through their site.
