| View in browser Annual Concert Details   Piccolo and Vivo   The 40th anniversary year concerts promise to be a fabulous celebration of the AGC and we’re so looking forward to all of our girls, across the country, being involved. We appreciate how busy the end of year can be for families. With this is mind, while the Annual Concert is not until November, we are pleased to provide you with all of the information now that you will require about rehearsals and the performance.    We’re pleased to be returning to the Concourse Concert Hall in Chatswood for our junior@agc concerts on Saturday November 9. For those who have not experienced a concert at this venue before, it is a high quality and intimate venue which we believe is ideal for this concert featuring our Piccolo and Vivo choristers.  We trust that the below information is clear, however should you require more information than we’ve provided please call us on 03 9859 6499 or email us at headoffice@aspagroup.com.au. Annual Concert Production Rehearsal   Piccolo and Vivo   The Annual Concert Production Rehearsal is an opportunity for girls to come together to prepare the music and staging for their Annual Concert items. This rehearsal will replace all Saturday classes on this weekend.   Date: Saturday October 19   Times:  Piccolo and Vivo from St Ives, Haberfield and North Parramatta Arrive: between 8.15am - 8.30am Depart: 10.15am   Piccolo and Vivo from Castle Hill, Waverley and Kellyville Arrive: between 10.20am - 10.35am Depart: 12.20pm    Piccolo and Vivo from Chatswood, North Ryde and Beecroft Arrive: between 12.25pm - 12.40pm Depart: 2.25pm   Venue: Mercy College - 99-101 Archer Street, Chatswood   Arrival and Collection: Please click here to view the venue map for parking options and pedestrian access to the arrival point where you will be met by an AGC staff member.   Wear: AGC Uniform   Bring: All choristers should bring a named water bottle. Choristers will not require any food for this rehearsal.   Whilst we see this as a valuable chance for the girls to experience concert preparation with the other choristers from their level, we also understand that attendance might not be possible for all families. Please note that girls who are unable to attend will not be disadvantaged and their tutor will ensure that they are adequately caught up in the weeks following the Production Rehearsal. There is no need to let us know if your daughter is unable to attend this event.   AGC on-the-day phone number: 0411 956 519 This phone will only be switched on during Production Rehearsal times. junior@agc Annual Concert   Piccolo and Vivo   Date: Saturday November 9 The concert will replace all regular Saturday classes on this day.   Venue: The Concourse Concert Hall, 409 Victoria Avenue, Chatswood - please see the venue map for arrival and parking details.   We will be holding three concerts in one day and girls in our Piccolo and Vivo levels are involved in one concert.   Please find details for your daughter’s venue below.   Concert 1 - 12.30pm Piccolo and Vivo from Chatswood, St Ives and Castle Hill Piccolo and Vivo from Chatswood arrive: 9.30am Piccolo and Vivo from St Ives arrive: 9.55am Piccolo and Vivo from Castle Hill arrive: 10.20am Girls in concert 1 will be involved in a short onstage rehearsal prior to the concert. Audience can enter the auditorium from 12.10pm Concert 1 commences at 12.30pm and runs for 1hr 20mins without an interval.   Concert 2 - 3.30pm Piccolo and Vivo from Waverley, Haberfield and North Ryde Piccolo and Vivo and audience arrive: 2.45pm Audience can enter the auditorium from 3.10pm. Concert 2 commences at 3.30pm and runs for 1hr 20mins without an interval. Concert 3 - 6.30pm Piccolo and Vivo Kellyville, North Parramatta and Beecroft Piccolo and Vivo and audience arrive: 5.45pm Audience can enter the auditorium from 6.10pm. Concert 3 commences at 6.30pm and runs for 1hr 20mins without an interval.   Arrival: On arrival to the venue please make your way to the arrival desk in the foyer. Girls will be escorted to their level group by AGC staff where a roll will be marked for attendance.   Wear: Piccolo & Vivo levels wear a party dress, or a top with knee to mid-calf length skirt or pants. This can be worn with flat and secure party shoes or sandals of any colour. Girls should arrive with their hair tied neatly back off their face and may like to wear their hair in a special way for the performance. Girls don’t wear any jewellery or watches on stage, other than small earrings. We suggest that jewellery, watches and other valuables are left at home.   Bring: Girls in Concert 1: Bring a packed meal (that does not require preparation or heating), substantial snack and named water bottle. We have some choristers who have severe nut allergies and therefore ask that you do not pack any nut based foods, including peanut butter and Nutella sandwiches. Girls in Concerts 2 & 3: Bring a named water bottle. Girls in Concerts 2 & 3 will not require any food on concert day. Dismissal: Collection points will be communicated on stage at the conclusion of the performance.   AGC on-the-day phone number: 0411 956 519 Tickets: $50 Adult and $44 Concession available for sale from 1.00pm Monday October 21. Sisters in different performances: Families with sisters who are not performing in a concert together across the two weekends will be offered up to 3 complimentary tickets to one performance. We will be in contact with these families by email prior to the ticket on sale date.   Specialist Groups:  Choristers in Cantini will be involved in the same performance as their level group.   Concert Program & Recording: An Annual Concert program with all girls’ names included will be available to purchase on Concert Day for $10. Professional footage of the Annual Concert will be available for purchase from Commercial Video Productions through this link www.cvp.com.au/agc. Enter the password AGC24 and select the city your daughter is enrolled in to place your order.    It can take up to 30 days following the event to receive your order. All orders are managed directly by Commercial Video Productions and copies of past concerts are available through their site. Term Dates   There will be a two week holiday break at the end of term 3. The last week of classes for AGC will be held in the week of September 23. Final Saturday classes will be held on September 28. Term 4 resumes in the week of October 14 and Saturday October 19 for Saturday classes. All upcoming AGC term dates can be viewed on our website calendar.
