We wish to apologise for any confusion caused in the End of Year eNewsletter sent out to families yesterday, which stated that all classes had ended for the year. This was an administrative error.
We would like to confirm that our final classes for 2024 will still be running this week and this has now been amended below. Classes for 2025 will then be held from February 8.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any queries, and we hope all of our girls enjoy their last week of classes after the success of the Annual Concerts.
End of Year eNewsletter

Dear Parents and girls,
In the year you turn 40, what could be better than presenting 19 Annual Concerts across six cities over five weekends? Presenting 20 concerts over five weekends, with one of them being in Singapore! By December 1, we’ll have done this and thoroughly celebrated the successful opening of the Australian International Girls Choir. The concert season is such a joy filled culmination to the year and we hope that all of our girls and audiences had a wonderful time.
A few reminders to finish your year with us and prepare for 2025:
Final and first classes - This week is the final week of classes and the first classes for 2025 will be held from February 8.
Concert DVD - We are always impressed by the standard of performance at the Annual Concerts and hope you were too. Professional footage is available for purchase from Commercial Video Productions through this link(the password is AGC24).
2025 re-enrolment - Re-enrolment information was sent to all families earlier this week.
Our charity partnership with Girls from Ozis growing and we’re very proud of the work we’ve been doing together with First Nations peoples for 16 years. Please do take five minutes to watch this short piece about our Travel Programs – Song to Sing and if you feel inclined to provide some support for this work then you can do so when you re-enrol your daughter (tax deductible receipts will be sent). Who better to encourage girls in remote Australia to be thoroughly engaged in their education than you? It’s people who believe in the life-enhancing benefits of performing arts education who clearly see the value of the work g-oz does. We appreciate any donation you might make as you join hundreds of supporters in the ASPA community in supporting Girls from Oz.
Summer Showtime - enrolments for our January holiday program are now open.
The other aspect to the end of the year that fills us with happiness is having senior girls performing carols at events that range from local community gatherings through to the very popular televised shows - Carols in the Domain and Carols by Candlelight. It’s an important aspect of the AGC that our younger girls have the opportunity to look up to their ‘big sisters’ who represent us so beautifully at public events.
We thank you for choosing to be part of this vibrant organisation in this, our 40th anniversary year, and we’ll look forward to welcoming all of our enthusiastic girls back in 2025! Nicole Muir AM CEO
Carols
Our senior choristers will bring joy to audiences during the festive season through their Christmas performances at shopping centres, community concerts and on television, including Carols in the Domain on December 21 and Carols by Candlelight on Christmas Eve! We encourage our AGC families to come along and see the girls in action; please visit our website or check our Facebook page in December for more details about performances in each state!
Touring with the AGC in 2025
2025 Concert Level, Camerata and Performing Choir
Since 1989, more than 2,500 girls have toured with the AGC on one of our 48 tours and for most it was a highlight of their time with us and a highlight of their schooling years. We are pleased to be offering two touring opportunities in 2025 and choristers in Concert Level, Camerata and Performing Choir will have the opportunity to apply. Final tour information will be sent in early December.
Summer Showtime
Sing, dance and act your way into the new year
Take the stage these school holidays at our Summer Showtime music theatre program presented by the Australian School of Performing Arts.
Over four jam-packed days (January 20 – 23), girls and boys in Grade 3 to 7 will work with our dynamic team of performing arts specialists to put together a production of…
Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves.
For children in Kindergarten to Grade 2, we will also be offering two and three day Holiday Programs where junior participants can develop their singing, dance and drama skills in a nurturing and creative environment.
Several of our Summer Showtime Programs were a sold-out success in 2024, so secure your spot now to avoid missing out!
