In this edition of our eNewsletter, you’ll find details about the upcoming Australian Girls Choir in Concert, showcasing our senior choristers from Prelude, Concert Level, Camerata and Performing Choir – we’d love to see you there! With the school holidays approaching, we have included term dates as well as a link to book into our October Performing Arts Holiday Program. Please also take note of the date for our Annual Concert later this year, which will involve all choristers.

Winter Showcase Congratulations

We were thrilled with the performance standard at the recent Winter Showcase Concerts and congratulate all the girls involved! It was a joy to perform for such supportive audiences, and we sincerely thank our AGC families for their cooperation with weekly rehearsals. We hope every chorister feels proud of their hard work and enjoyed their time on stage.

Professional footage is available for purchase from Commercial Video Productions. Click ‘Order Footage’ below to order a copy of your daughter's Winter Showcase online (the password is AGC25).

Australian Girls Choir in Concert Invitation

Each year our most senior levels of the Australian Girls Choir; Prelude, Concert Level, Camerata and Performing Choir present ‘Australian Girls Choir in Concert’ at St Peters Lutheran College Performing Arts Centre. These talented young performers will take the audience on a musical journey featuring varied and entertaining repertoire.

A focus on role modelling is at the heart of the AGC philosophy with many of our littlies dreaming of one day becoming a member of the Performing Choir. We are pleased to offer every junior chorister a special ticket price of $10 and hope that they will come along to see our ‘big girls’ in action. Please note that choristers attending the performance will not be supervised by AGC staff members and to this end we ask that an adult accompanies your daughter to the show.

Pre-sale for Prelude, Concert Level, Camerata and Performing Choir families and friends from Monday July 21 at 1pm.

General Public tickets will go on sale from Monday July 28 at 1pm

Easy access ticketing requirements for limited steps, wheelchair accessibility, hearing or vision impairments and any other requirements will need to be completed by our ticketing team in the office. Annual Concert Dates 2025

The Annual Concerts for this year will be held on Sunday November 23.

Further details will be provided in eNewsletter 4 at the beginning of Term 3.

Term Dates

Term 2 classes finish on Saturday June 28. We look forward to seeing all our choristers again in the first week of term 3, starting in the week of July 14.

Performing Arts Holiday Program

Girls and boys in Prep to Year 6

ASPA Education’s ‘Take the Stage’ Holiday Program brings the magic of the performing arts to the October school holidays! Through interactive, dynamic workshops in song, dance and drama, girls and boys in Prep to Year 6 are invited to discover and develop their inner performer! All AGC choristers will receive a special discount and we encourage you to invite your friends and family to come along.
