In this edition of our eNewsletter, you’ll find details about the upcoming Australian Girls Choir in Concert, showcasing our senior choristers from Camerata and Performing Choir – we’d love to see you there! With the school holidays approaching, we have included term dates and a link to book into our Performing Arts Holiday Program. Please also take note of the date for our Annual Concert later this year, which will involve all choristers.

Winter Showcase Congratulations

We were thrilled with the performance standard at the recent Winter Showcase Concerts and congratulate all the girls involved! It was a joy to perform for such supportive audiences, and we sincerely thank our AGC families for their cooperation with weekly rehearsals. We hope every chorister feels proud of their hard work and enjoyed their time on stage.

Professional footage is available for purchase from Commercial Video Productions. Click ‘Order Footage’ below to order a copy of your daughter's Winter Showcase online (the password is AGC25).

Australian Girls Choir in Concert Invitation

Each year our most senior levels of the Australian Girls Choir; Camerata and Performing Choir present ‘Australian Girls Choir in Concert’ at the Concourse Concert Hall in Chatswood. These talented young performers will take the audience on a musical journey featuring varied and entertaining repertoire.

A focus on role modelling is at the heart of the AGC philosophy and we hope that many of our little girls are already looking up to the big girls, dreaming of one day becoming a Performing chorister. If you are the parent of one of these aspiring young performers then we encourage you to bring your daughter along to the performance. The show will engage audience members of all ages as it’s visually interesting as well as featuring beautiful singing.

Annual Concert Dates 2025

The Annual Concerts for this year will be held on the below dates:

Sunday November 30 for Allegro, Avanti, Prelude, Concert level and Camerata.
Saturday November 22 for Piccolo and Vivo levels.

Performing Choir will perform on both dates.

Further details will be provided in eNewsletter 4 at the beginning of Term 3.

Term Dates

Term 2 classes finish on Saturday July 5. We look forward to seeing all our choristers again in the first week of term 3, starting in the week of July 21.

Performing Arts Holiday Program

Girls and boys in Kinder to Year 6

ASPA Education’s ‘Take the Stage’ Holiday Program brings the magic of the performing arts to the July school holidays! Through interactive, dynamic workshops in song, dance and drama, girls and boys in Kinder to Year 6 are invited to discover and develop their inner performer! All AGC choristers will receive a special discount and we encourage you to invite your friends and family to come along.
