Australian Girls Choir in Concert Invitation
Each year our most senior levels of the Australian Girls Choir; Prelude, Concert Level, Camerata and Performing Choir present ‘Australian Girls Choir in Concert’ at St Peters Lutheran College Performing Arts Centre. These talented young performers will take the audience on a musical journey featuring varied and entertaining repertoire.
A focus on role modelling is at the heart of the AGC philosophy with many of our littlies dreaming of one day becoming a member of the Performing Choir. We are pleased to offer every junior chorister a special ticket price of $10 and hope that they will come along to see our ‘big girls’ in action. Please note that choristers attending the performance will not be supervised by AGC staff members and to this end we ask that an adult accompanies your daughter to the show.

We are delighted to share further details regarding our Annual Concerts. We know November is a busy month so we encourage you to save the date in your calendar. We are very excited to be holding our Annual Concerts at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre on Sunday November 23 and all choristers will be involved in one of two concerts. The experience of performing in a professional theatre is an exciting and memorable occasion for our choristers and a special way to finish the AGC year.
Should you have more than one daughter in the choir and your daughters are not scheduled to perform in the same show for the Annual Concert, AGC will offer up to three complimentary tickets to one of these performances.

Annual Concert Production Rehearsal
All Levels
The Annual Concert Production Rehearsal is an opportunity for girls from all venues to come together to prepare the music and staging for their Annual Concert items. This rehearsal will run for approximately 1-3 hours depending on your daughter's level. It will be held in one location and will replace all Saturday classes on this weekend. Whilst we see this as a valuable chance for the girls to experience music making with the larger group, we also understand that attendance might not be possible for all families. Please note that girls who are unable to attend will not be disadvantaged and their tutor will ensure that they are adequately caught up in the week following the Production Rehearsal.
Saturday October 25 Piccolo, Vivo, Allegro, Avanti, Prelude, Concert Level and Camerata
Sunday October 26 Performing Choir
All rehearsal details will be provided in September.

This June, g-oz set an ambitious goal: to raise $100,000 for the 2025 ‘Voices for the Future’ Giving Circles campaign.
We’re excited to share that the target has been reached with a total of $102,725 raised – making it the third year in a row this goal has been surpassed! A heartfelt thank you to the AGC community for playing such a vital role in this achievement and supporting our charity partner.
As part of the campaign, 48 Giving Circle Coordinators formed their own fundraising ‘circles’, reaching out to their networks to raise funds and share the g-oz story. These Coordinators included our g-oz Ambassadors comprised of AGC senior choristers; parents; alumni; tutors; and even our inspiring 95-year-old founder, Judith Curphey OAM! This year saw a wide range of creative fundraising efforts, from bake sales and sausage sizzles to market stalls and public performances. A lot of time, effort and energy was put into these events, and they were all a roaring success!
The 22 nd g-oz Travel Program to Sydney will see 30 g-oz participants from the remote Australian communities of Halls Creek, Lockhart River, Kowanyama, and Bidyadanga participate in a week-long educational and cross-cultural program, concluding with a performance at the Sydney Opera House alongside the AGC at the Annual Concert.
Thank you once again to everyone who supported the 2025 ‘Voices for the Future’ Giving Circles Campaign, and a special thanks to those families who so generously choose to regularly donate to g-oz throughout the year.
