Australian Girls Choir in Concert Invitation
Each year our most senior levels of the Australian Girls Choir; Camerata and Performing Choir present ‘Australian Girls Choir in Concert’ at the Concourse Concert Hall in Chatswood. These talented young performers will take the audience on a musical journey featuring varied and entertaining repertoire.
A focus on role modelling is at the heart of the AGC philosophy and we hope that many of our little girls are already looking up to the big girls, dreaming of one day becoming a Performing chorister. If you are the parent of one of these aspiring young performers then we encourage you to bring your daughter along to the performance. The show will engage audience members of all ages as it’s visually interesting as well as featuring beautiful singing.

We will also be holding demonstration classes for our specialist groups Cantini, Cantissimo and Canto for the full duration of their rehearsal. We are delighted to share further details regarding our Annual Concerts. We know November is a busy month so we encourage you to save the date in your calendar.
Piccolo and Vivo levels will perform in one of two Annual Concerts at The Concourse on Saturday November 22.

Camerata will be involved in the Sydney Opera House concerts on Sunday November 30. Please see the Camerata venue splits below.

Annual Concert Production Rehearsal
Piccolo, Vivo, Allegro, Avanti, Prelude and Concert Level
The Annual Concert Production Rehearsal is an opportunity for girls from all venues to come together to prepare the music and staging for their Annual Concert items. This rehearsal will run for approximately 1-3 hours depending on your daughter's level. It will be held at one location and will replace all Saturday classes on this weekend. Whilst we see this as a valuable chance for the girls to experience music making with the larger group, we also understand that attendance might not be possible for all families. Please note that girls who are unable to attend will not be disadvantaged and their tutor will ensure that they are adequately caught up in the week following the Production Rehearsal.
Saturday November 1 Piccolo and Vivo – all venues
Allegro and Avanti from Beecroft, Balgowlah, Haberfield, Kellyville and St Ives venues
Sunday November 2 Allegro and Avanti from Castle Hill, Chatswood, North Parramatta, North Ryde and Waverley venues
Prelude and Concert Level – all venues
All rehearsal details will be provided in September.

This June, g-oz set an ambitious goal: to raise $100,000 for the 2025 ‘Voices for the Future’ Giving Circles campaign.
We’re excited to share that the target has been reached with a total of $102,725 raised – making it the third year in a row this goal has been surpassed! A heartfelt thank you to the AGC community for playing such a vital role in this achievement and supporting our charity partner.
As part of the campaign, 48 Giving Circle Coordinators formed their own fundraising ‘circles’, reaching out to their networks to raise funds and share the g-oz story. These Coordinators included our g-oz Ambassadors comprised of AGC senior choristers; parents; alumni; tutors; and even our inspiring 95-year-old founder, Judith Curphey OAM! This year saw a wide range of creative fundraising efforts, from bake sales and sausage sizzles to market stalls and public performances. A lot of time, effort and energy was put into these events, and they were all a roaring success!
The 22 nd g-oz Travel Program to Sydney will see 30 g-oz participants from the remote Australian communities of Halls Creek, Lockhart River, Kowanyama, and Bidyadanga participate in a week-long educational and cross-cultural program, concluding with a performance at the Sydney Opera House alongside the AGC at the Annual Concert.
Thank you once again to everyone who supported the 2025 ‘Voices for the Future’ Giving Circles Campaign, and a special thanks to those families who so generously choose to regularly donate to g-oz throughout the year.
