Australian Girls Choir in Concert

Come and see the show!

AGC in Concert features our two senior performance groups, Camerata and Performing Choir in a dazzling showcase of dynamic repertoire and stunning choreography. We would love to see our AGC choristers in the audience for this special celebration!

Annual Concert Production Rehearsal

Piccolo, Vivo, Allegro, Avanti, Prelude and Concert Level

The Annual Concert Production Rehearsal is an opportunity for girls from all venues to come together to prepare the music and staging for their Annual Concert items. This rehearsal will be held at one venue and will run for approximately 1-3 hours depending on your daughter's level.

Annual Concert Production Rehearsal will replace all Saturday classes on this weekend.

Saturday October 17
Piccolo and Vivo – all venues

Allegro and Avanti from Berwick, Box Hill, Essendon, Greensborough, Heidelberg, Ivanhoe and Yarraville venues

Sunday October 18
Allegro and Avanti from Caulfield North, Glen Waverley, Kew, Mentone and Ringwood venues

Prelude and Concert Level – all venues

We are delighted to share further details regarding our Annual Concerts.

George Wood Performing Arts Centre - Saturday November 14

Piccolo and Vivo levels will perform in one of two Annual Concerts at George Wood Performing Arts Centre at Yarra Valley Grammar School.

Concert 1 - Berwick, Box Hill, Glen Waverley, Mentone and Ringwood

Concert 2 - Caulfield North, Essendon, Greensborough, Ivanhoe, Kew and Yarraville 

Hamer Hall - Sunday November 8

Allegro, Avanti, Prelude and Concert Level will perform in one of three Annual Concerts at Hamer Hall, Arts Centre Melbourne. 

Concert 1 - Greensborough, Heidelberg, Ivanhoe, Kew and Ringwood

Concert 2 - Berwick, Glen Waverley and Essendon

Concert 3 - Box Hill, Caulfield North, Mentone and Yarraville 

Camerata will participate in the concerts on Sunday November 8.

Concert 1 - Kew

Concert 2 - Burwood East

Concert 3 - Burwood East

Performing Choir will participate in all concerts on Sunday November 8 and Saturday November 14.

The experience of performing in these professional theatres is an exciting and memorable occasion for our choristers and a special way to finish the AGC year.

Should you have more than one daughter in the choir and your daughters are not scheduled to perform in the same show across the two Annual Concert dates, AGC will offer up to three complimentary tickets to one of these performances.

All rehearsal and concert details including arrival times and concert tickets will be provided in September.

2026 Term Dates

Term 3 classes start in the week of July 13 and end on Saturday September 19.

Term 4 classes start in the week of October 5 and end on Saturday November 21.

Performing Arts Holiday Program

ASPA Education’s ‘Take the Stage’ Holiday Program brings the magic of the performing arts to the September school holidays! Through interactive, dynamic workshops in song, dance and drama, girls and boys in Prep to Year 6 are invited to discover and develop their inner performer! All AGC choristers will receive a special discount and we encourage you to invite your friends and family to come along.

Girls from Oz: Circles for Change  

For the fifth year in a row our charity partner Girls from Oz has set and surpassed the target for their annual Giving Circles fundraising campaign. 

In 2026 g-oz aimed to raise $100,000 to fund two Travel Programs – one for Queensland program participants to Melbourne, and one for Western Australian participants to Perth. We’re excited to share that, with the support of the Australian Girls Choir community, g-oz raised a total of $101,959. A heartfelt thank you to the AGC community for playing such a vital role in this achievement. 

As part of the campaign, 46 Giving Circle Coordinators formed their own fundraising ‘circles for change’, reaching out to their networks to raise funds and share the g-oz story. These Coordinators included our g-oz Ambassadors comprised of AGC senior choristers; parents; alumni and tutors. This year saw our most creative fundraising efforts to date, from bake sales and market stalls to face-painting and public performances. A lot of time, effort and energy was put into these events, and they were all a roaring success!

This year’s Travel Programs to Melbourne and Perth will see 30 g-oz participants from the remote Australian communities of Halls Creek, Lockhart River, Kowanyama, and Bidyadanga participate in a week-long educational and cross-cultural program, concluding with a performances with the Australian Girls Choir at the Annual Concert.

Thank you once again to everyone who supported the 2026 ‘Confident Girls, Courageous Women’ Giving Circles Campaign, and a special thanks to those families who so generously choose to regularly donate to g-oz throughout the year.
