Touring in 2026
2026 Concert Level, Camerata and Performing Choir
We’re delighted to be once again planning to undertake a National and International Tour in the Term 3 school holidays.
Since 1989, more than 2,600 girls have toured with the AGC on one of our 50 tours and for most it was a highlight of their time with us and a highlight of their schooling years. What could be better than seeing new places with a group of girls who share your passion for singing, dancing and performing? Whether the adventures take place on home soil or in countries that most people dream of visiting, the view of many girls and their parents is that it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity.
As is always the case at this time of year, we are exploring a range of options in terms of which cities and towns to visit or re-visit. We’re fortunate to have a wonderful network of choirs and schools throughout Australia and in many countries around the world; we will be liaising with potential host groups in coming months in order to put our plans in place. It’s too early to be precise but we’re currently thinking:
INTERNATIONAL TOUR France, Spain and possibly Singapore September 18 – October 7 TBC
NATIONAL TOUR Tasmania September 18 – September 30 TBC
We will be holding a tour information session on Zoom on Tuesday November 18 from 7.30 – 8.15pm (AEDT) and will send further details about this to 2026 Concert Level, Camerata and Performing choristers at the end of October.
AGC Open Days
Our upcoming Open Days in November give potential new choristers the chance to try an AGC class, meet our welcoming staff members, attend an information session and register for 2026 classes. With 6,500 girls taking part in our classes each week we have found that there is no surer way of letting other girls ‘in on the secret’ than by word of mouth. Should you wish to recommend the AGC to your family and friends please encourage them to visit our website below to find out more about our Open Days!
Take the stage these school holidays at our Summer Showtime music theatre program presented by the Australian School of Performing Arts.
Over four jam-packed days (January 19 – 22), girls and boys in Grade 2 to 7 will work with our dynamic team of performing arts specialists to put together a production of…
Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves.
For children in Pre-Primary and Grade 1, we will also be offering a two-day Holiday Program where junior participants can develop their singing, dance and drama skills in a nurturing and creative environment.
Several of our Summer Showtime Programs were a sold-out success in 2025, so secure your spot now to avoid missing out!
The g-oz Travel Program offers selected girls from the remote communities of Halls Creek, Lockhart River, Kowanyama and Bidyadanga the chance to connect with peer-aged Australian Girls Choir members through a unique cultural exchange in a major Australian city. Since 2009, 297 girls have had the opportunity to attend this program. A key element of making these programs come to life is the incredible generosity of the ASPA community, including the 15 AGC families who volunteer to host the visiting g-oz participants.
The 22nd g-oz Travel Program will be delivered once again in Sydney, and run from November 24 to December 1.
The girls will participate in a wide range of educational, vocational and tourist activities, including a visit to NAISDA Dance College and Google’s Australian Headquarters.
Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC will host an event for the girls at Admiralty House.
The girls will also experience a rich, transformative week with their AGC host families, including attending AGC rehearsals together with their host sisters.
The goal of this year’s g-oz Giving Circle Campaign was $100,000 to fund the Travel Program and this target was exceeded – thank you to those of you who supported this work.
Please enjoy this five minute video of the 2024 g-oz Travel Program cohort singing Cyndi Lauper’s True Colours at the Sydney Opera House alongside AGC. Stay tuned on g-oz socials to see and support the 22nd Travel Program in November!
