Tickets go on sale at 9.00am on Tuesday April 29 through Eventbrite:

$25 Adult and $20 Child (plus Eventbrite booking fee).

Children aged up to 18 years. Only children under 2 years may sit on a parent’s lap.

Times:
Girls will participate in an onstage rehearsal prior to the concert. Please contact the office if your daughter is unable to arrive at the scheduled time.

Canto arrive: 12.45pm

Avanti arrive: 1.15pm
Allegro arrive: 1.30pm

Audience can enter the auditorium from 3.45pm
The concert commences at 4.00pm and runs for 1 hour
 
Arrival:
On arrival to the venue please make your way to the arrival desk on Level 3. Girls will be escorted to their level group by IGC staff where a roll will be marked for attendance.
 
Wear:

• Wear their uniform t-shirt with skirt or pants (any colour). Please note that they will be sitting cross legged at some stages during the performance. 
• Flat and secure shoes or sandals of any colour (please do not wear sneakers, slides, flip flops or crocs).
• All girls should arrive with their hair tied neatly back off their face with their pink hair ribbon, and may like to wear their hair in a special way for the performance.
• Girls don’t wear any jewellery or watches on stage, other than small earrings. We suggest that jewellery, watches and other valuables are left at home.
   

Allegro and Avanti

• Wear their uniform t-shirt with black full length pants or leggings (no jeans please). Please see examples of suitable pants/leggings below.
• Flat and secure shoes or sandals, preferably black in colour (please do not wear sneakers, slides, flip flops or crocs).
• All girls should arrive with their hair tied neatly back off their face with their pink hair ribbon, and may like to wear their hair in a special way for the performance.

Bring:
Bring a substantial snack and a named water bottle (please eat lunch before arrival).

Dismissal:
Collection points will be communicated on stage at the conclusion of the performance.

Introducing Performing Choir

We are excited to be launching Performing Choir next semester, which gives selected girls the opportunity to perform at high-profile events around Singapore, in addition to working on more challenging music and choreography.

Performing Choir will rehearse at our new city-based location (Dhoby Ghaut/Bencoolen area) on Thursday evenings from 6.00 - 8.00pm commencing in August 2025.

Girls in Allegro and Avanti will be invited to audition for Performing Choir on Saturday May 24 during your regular class time. Further information will be emailed soon. 

2025-26 Enrolment

Re-enrolment information will be sent to all families on Monday June 2 which will include information about your daughter's IGC Level for Semester 1, 2025-26. The drop date to notify us if you do not wish to continue will be Wednesday June 11, before fees are auto-charged the following day.

We are excited to announce that we will be launching a NEW city-based venue (Dhoby Ghaut/Bencoolen area) next Semester! We will run classes at this new location for all levels on Thursday afternoon/evening including Performing Choir. 

Semester 1 runs from August 14 (Thursday classes) or August 16 (Saturday classes) for 16 weeks. Further information can be found on our website below, including the Semester 1, 2025-26 timetable which will be released on May 5.

May and June Open House

Our May and June Open House events give potential new choristers the chance to try an IGC class, take part in an assessment workshop, meet our lovely staff members, and register for 2025-26 classes.

We have found that there is no surer way of letting other girls ‘in on the secret’ than by word of mouth. Should you wish to recommend the IGC to your family and friends please encourage them to visit our website below to find out more about our Open Days!

Canto Parent Open Class

Canto parents are invited to watch the entire Canto lesson on Thursday May 8. This is a great opportunity to see a class in action, meet your daughter's Instructor and connect with other parents.

Makeup Classes

Our second makeup class will occur on Sunday May 4 from 11.30am - 12.30pm at Astor International School.

It is essential to book in for Makeup Classes through iClass Pro (ICP) (through Booking > Find a Class).

AGC Tour Hosting

October 3 - 7

We look forward to welcoming our sisters from the Australian Girls Choir (AGC) International Touring Choir to Singapore in October. 56 of our most senior and talented performers from Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney are coming to Singapore after touring in Italy and Switzerland. Most of these young women (aged 14 – 18 years) have been members of the choir since they were five or six years of age and they are outstanding role models.

We are looking for IGC families who might be able to assist us by hosting two girls for the four nights they're in Singapore from October 3 - 7. We were so grateful to our families who hosted AGC girls last year; it was incredibly special to hear of new friendships formed with their big sisters from Australia and to see the AGC and IGC choristers sing together.

The AGC girls are extremely polite and easy to get along with, they will only require a bed and a few meals as part of their homestay with your family. The AGC has toured internationally 25 times and we always receive outstanding feedback from host families; it is common for the host girls to remain in contact with their visiting choir members and friendships remain strong over the years. Mentoring and role modelling is a key part of how we run the AGC and the big girl/little girl relationships are very special.

Join us for a creative holiday experience where boys and girls aged 5 to 12 will collaborate with our vibrant team of performing arts specialists to create an original performance of 'The Greatest Show on Earth'. The program culminates in a special performance of this fun and lively musical adventure for family and friends!

Production Rehearsal

Allegro and Avanti levels only

The Production Rehearsal is an opportunity for Allegro and Avanti girls to come together with our accompanist to prepare the music and staging for their Concert items. This rehearsal will be in addition to their regular Saturday classes.

Attendance:

Whilst we see this as a valuable chance for the girls to experience concert preparation with the other choristers from their level, we also understand that attendance might not be possible for all families. Please note that girls who are unable to attend will be caught up in the weeks following the Production Rehearsal. There is no need to let us know if your daughter is unable to attend this event.
