After the success of last year's inaugural tour, we will be once again be offering the opportunity for a small group of IGC girls to travel to Sydney to perform at the Opera House in late November/early December with the Australian Girls Choir (AGC), and
The AGC International Touring Choir will visit Singapore in October following their time performing throughout France.

In Class Audition Workshops – Allegro, Avanti and Performing Choir choristers only

Upon registration, all parents should have created an iClass Pro (ICP) account. We recommend downloading the mobile App as there are a number of ongoing functions you can complete through ICP:
Uniform orders - Uniform t-shirts and hair ribbons can be purchased through the ICP Shop. Items will be delivered to your daughter's rehearsal venue and handed out in class. New choristers should continue to wear casual clothes to class until the uniforms are delivered.
Absences - You can notify us of an upcoming absence via your ICP account. Click on your daughter's profile and navigate to 'Future Absences'.
Change of Details - You can make changes to your personal details including phone, address, daughter's school and grade. You can also register contact details for an additional parent if you wish them to receive communications.
In-Class Audition Workshop Allegro, Avanti and Performing Choir only
During our Semester 2 program, IGC Instructors will nominate a small number of choristers to be considered for a special part in our end of semester concert. While not every chorister will receive a special part, we are committed to supporting the development of solo singing and performance skills for all girls. Therefore, Allegro and Avanti choristers will take part in a semi-formal In-Class Audition Workshop, which will be facilitated by their Instructor over two weeks on February 14 and 28. A chorister who misses one of these classes will still be considered.
Choristers in junior@igc will not be assessed formally, but we encourage you to speak with your daughter's regular Instructor if you would like feedback on her progress.
Choristers in Performing Choir will be assessed during the Performing Choir Rehearsal Day on March 1.
Makeup Classes
We will be offering two optional makeup classes for students in junior@igc, Allegro and Avanti who have been absent for classes during our Semester 2 program.
The first makeup class will occur on Sunday March 1 from 11.30am - 12.30pm and be held at GIG International School.
The second makeup class will occur on Sunday April 26 from 11.30am - 12.30pm (venue to be confirmed).
It is essential to book in for Makeup Classes through iClass Pro (ICP) (through Booking > Find a Class).
We don't offer makeup classes for Performing Choir or Canto, as these classes have additional weekend Rehearsal Days scheduled instead.
Parent Open Classes
Parents are invited to watch an IGC class in action, meet their daughter's Instructor and connect with other parents at our Semester 2 Open Classes.

Production Rehearsal

The Production Rehearsal is an opportunity for junior@igc, Allegro, Avanti and Performing Choir girls to come together with our accompanists and conductors, to prepare the music and staging for their Concert items. Production Rehearsal will be held at the Australian International School and will replace regular Saturday classes on this date.

Times: Girls will participate in an onstage rehearsal prior to the concert (rehearsals commencing from mid-morning for Performing Choir, and from midday onwards for the other levels). Arrival times will be different for each IGC level and will be announced with the next newsletter.
The concert commences at 3.30pm and will run for approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.

Join us for a creative holiday adventure where boys and girls aged 5 to 12 will collaborate with our energetic performing arts specialists to create an original performance of 'Race Around the World'. The program culminates in a special showcase performance for family and friends!
